Ovo je djelo u javnom vlasništvu u SAD-u zato jer je objavljeno (ili registrirano pri Uredu za autorska prava Sjedinjenih Američkih Država) prije 1. siječnja 1931.
Da bi bilo postavljeno na Zajedničkom poslužitelju, djelo mora biti u javnom vlasništvu i u SAD-u i u državi podrijetla. Ako rad nije djelo američkog autora, datoteka mora imati dodatnu oznaku autorskog prava koja ukazuje na status autorskog prava u zemlji podrijetla.

However, the date of creation of the work was over 120 years ago, and it is thus a reasonable assumption that the copyright has expired (see here for the community discussion).
