English: Sher Shah Suri, founder of the Sur Empire in northern India in the 16th century. He defeated the powerful Mughal Empire under Humayun but died 5 years later due to an accident while loading a cannon. He was an ethnic Afghan (now Pashtun) but was born in what is now India.
